Since 1965:
After leaving high school, I never did develop an
interest in college, so I did not go. I attended a 2 year hitch in
the US Navy shortly after graduation, then worked as an aircraft
electrician in Ft. Worth & Amarillo, Texas for a few years.
For about 20 years, I fought the "bottle" & eventually ended
up in an alcohol & drug treatment center in Cushing, Oklahoma &
later another one in Woodward in 2008.
During this course of time I went through 3 wife's & 5 children &
lots of heartbreaks & headaches.
As of 2009 I am again single but have a total of 5 children & 15
grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren & another one coming this year. (Click

I have worked for Terra Nitrogen (Click here
for picture) in Woodward Oklahoma for 33 years now.
(We manufacture Anhydrous Ammonia, Methanol, UAN Solutions, &
UREA). I am currently the Shipping Supervisor for Hazardous
Chemicals, & also the computer IT coordinator for the Woodward
Facility.
I started Square Dancing in the early 80's. I always
loved music - so I started calling Square Dances in the early 80's
& just quit in 2001 after calling for 18 years. (Quit due to too many
irons in the fire). I still do maintain a web site for 2 of
the Oklahoma Square Dance Districts. I returned to Square Dancing in
2008, but am not calling this time. I met another dancer that did
not have a partner & we have been together for 10 months now.
I have basically 2 acres of land about 15 miles out of Woodward - have no visible
neighbors - except for family, the coyote's, deer, turkeys & other wildlife in
the area.
Having developed an interest in computers, I started a web business in the
late 90's - mainly to see if I could do it & to see what all was
involved. I have stopped that web business, too much going on, but
do still maintain the Square
Dance web & the Farwell class of 65 web site.
Like many other classmates I have visited with - I also played the stock
market wrong & let my 401K program go to pot, so my original intentions
of retiring at 62 have been postponed for a few more years.
My girlfriend is a Teacher in Woodward &
continues to enjoy working with kids. We are active Square Dancing
& regular dancing as well as traveling some when we can.
